This practice treats diagnosed conditions
Moda Clinic evaluates and treats people who have a condition this practice treats. We do not prescribe to people who do not have one, and we do not start from a named medication and work backwards to find a reason for it.
That is a boundary rather than a verdict. It says what this practice is set up to do, not that nothing is wrong and not that you are wasting anyone's time.
What an evaluation here starts from
It starts with what is actually going on. How you sleep, how you feel through the day, what changed and over what period, and what else is going on medically. Where that points to a condition this practice treats, treatment is part of the conversation. Where it does not, it is not.
Arriving with something specific in mind does not disqualify you from being evaluated. It is just not what the evaluation is built around, and it is not what decides the outcome.
If you think something is wrong
Tiredness that does not lift, trouble staying awake through the day, or sleep that leaves you no better than when you went to bed are all worth taking to a clinician. Primary care is the usual place to start and can refer on to a sleep specialist.
Getting a diagnosis is a separate job from managing one, and it is the job that has to happen first.
Reading, if that is useful
If you would rather understand what these conditions are before deciding what to do about them, the library is open, costs nothing and asks for nothing.
If what you want is a sleep evaluation
If you are looking for an evaluation of your sleep rather than a particular medication, that is something this practice does. It is arranged separately from the intake questionnaire.
This page is public rather than shown only to people who reach it through the questionnaire. A practice that states its limits in private has not really stated them.
